Are you IN IT TO END IT? Everyone has a personal reason for participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It may be a sister, mother, best friend, or even yourself, or the man in your life. But for 2 days and 39 miles, FEARLESS FUNDRAISERS are all walking together toward one goal...to end this deadly disease.
Each Walker commits to raising a minimum of $1,800 in donations. My close friend Angie Kimball is participating in the Charlotte Walk on October 22-23, 2011. She needs your help. Please consider making a donation in her name so that she may meet her goal!
Tonight, I was out with my friends, one of which is a Lymphoma survivor. We were celebrating her birthday and another year together as best friends! I recently had my own breast related scare (luckily without problem) and we got to talking about how emotionally and physically draining a health issue can be. My own experience was but a glance at what a cancer survivor must go through and I greatly respect their bravery and strength to endure.
